Excellent for suffers of asthma & other respiratory problems.

SAT 29TH MAY 2010: ASHTANGA & YIN & YANG YOGA with GRANVILLE COUSINS: 10-4pm. £35.
Granville will teach Ashtanga yogasana in the morning session and Yin Yoga with a Flying Dragon Yang sequence for the afternoon session. Granville is a yoga teacher with over 30 years experience of different forms of yoga including Iyengar, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. During this period he has been very fortunate to have studied personally with Mr. B. K. S. Iyengar, Derek Ireland, David Swenson and other eminent teaches both in the world of Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. His teaching reflects this and challenges both our ideas and methods of practice and understanding. Through the method of yogAsana and meditation he is now developing a more softer and fluid approach to asana. Being more relaxed and softer during
asana enables the energy to flow through the channels more freely and does not strain the muscles, tendons and joints. Although this is still a challenging way of yoga, the benefits can immediately be experienced and an enjoyment of our yoga accompanies our Sadhana.
