Rail transfers from both are a pleasure with incredible scenery and are an enjoyable part of your holiday. Efficient, seamless connections on spotless trains- in a word- Swiss.
You can purchase a Swiss Card or a Swiss Transfer Ticket online which covers travel from the arrival airport to Wengen and return. 1st and 2nd class cards are available. The Swiss Card is more expensive but entitles you to up to 50% discount on various excursions and is ideal for summer. The Swiss Transfer Ticket is ideal for winter.

Children from the age of 6 to 15 travel free when accompanied by at least one parent with the "Swiss Travel System Family Card"
Fly/rail luggage service
This is a great service we use each time we travel to Wengen. We have personally always used Swiss Air via Zurich airport and this service has been trouble free. However other airlines have different operating procedures, so please check with your airline before booking the fly/rail service.
From most airports around the world, your luggage (max 32 kg per item) travels directly to your railway station in Switzerland via Zurich or Geneva Airport. This means you arrive at the airport and your luggage is automatically forwarded to your destination station. This way, you don’t lose any time waiting for your suitcase. The luggage is transported to/from your hotel.
Luggage may not arrive until some time the next day in your resort, so we recommend that you take an overnight bag with you. Also, for the return journey, luggage may have to be sent to the airport the day before departure.
